🧉 Curado Instructions (Before First Use)

To prepare your natural calabash gourd and extend its life, perform a curado (seasoning):

1. Fill halfway with used or mild yerba mate.

2. Add hot water and let it sit for 24 hours.

3. Remove and gently scrape the inside with a spoon to take out soft pulp.

4. Rinse with cold water and let it dry naturally, opening facing down.

This process strengthens the gourd, prevents cracking and bitterness, and enhances the flavour of your future mate.
